It's Thursday! It's raining outside, it's so romantic!
When it rains, it reminds me of home, friends, books, childhood ... I love rainy, warm days :) It also inspired me to write this post about our last bike ride.
On Sunday (18.05.14) we had a gently ride on mostly off-road tracks through Horton Country Park linking Epson Common, Chessington and Claygate.
About ride: Starting at Chessington South Station, this ride is not far from the entrance to Chessington World of Adventures, a popular London theme park with rollercoaster rides and a small zoo. Plenty of woodlands paths and a small chance of getting lost in Epson Forest make this an exciting adventure. You will probably need to lift your bike over gates at some point during the ride.Distance ride: 12.4km
How to get there: We took overground train from Shadwell to Clapham Junction. From Clapham Junction took SouthWest train to Chessington South Station.
Things to see: See attached photographs
